Fill a bucket with water and change the water several times. The lye will be removed and it will become clear. [About washing] Natural indigo will fade at first, but unlike synthetic dyes, it will not transfer to other items. Please use a neutral detergent that does not contain fluorescent whitening agents. Alkaline detergents will cause the color to fade. Wash inside out, avoiding direct sunlight. After washing, reshape and dry in the shade.
